Profile: Luis Sasaki

I was born in the Dominican Republic. Since I was a child I felt an attraction for music and dance and I used my free time to learn about Dominican dances in the folkloric groups of my city. Then he takes classes in Latin Jazz, hip hop, Ballet, modern, contemporary, in Broadway Dance Center (Tokyo-New York) and Flamenco (Tokyo-Spain). As an instructor he makes appearances in the Spanish TV program NHK teaching Merengue and in the Waratte iitomo program teaching Salsa, also in commercials such as Yunker, among others. He has worked as a Back Dancer for famous Japanese and Latin artists.

Event producer, choreographer and dance instructor in schools, studios and recognized gyms in Tokyo.

In 2013, after receiving vocal training, he made his debut as Singer and Writer in different TV and Radio programs of the Dominican Republic. For his work of bringing Dominican culture to other continents he was recognized by the Secretary of Culture of the Dominican Republic as an ambassador of our music abroad, recognized for the Oscar de la Renta award in Dominican Republic as a Dominican abroad, recognized by the tokyo Dominican consulate for his cultural work with the Dominican Republic in Japan, recognized by his hometown Vicente Noble in Dominican Republic for proudly representing us abroad.
